Maine International Film Festival (MIFF) will premiere the documentary "Fighting Indians" on July 11th at 8:30 at the Skowhegan Drive In Theater. The documentary film explores the contentious battle over the use of Native American mascots in high school sports in Maine, focusing on Skowhegan high school, the last school in the state to carry a Native American mascot before the state banned their use in 2019.
